Elaine F. Blattner
A long-time resident of South Florida, Elaine is a senior advancement professional who can design, implement, and manage comprehensive fundraising approaches during challenging times. She has 20 years’ experience promoting philanthropy, relationship development, and leadership in a business environment with competing needs. Elaine builds strong relationships with various sectors — public, private, and not-for-profit — throughout South Florida.
Her strengths focus on major gift fundraising, campaigns, advancement operations, coaching/mentoring, strategizing with volunteer and executive leadership, conducting donor visits, and developing comprehensive fundraising plans. In 2019, she founded Blattner Consulting to serve as strategic counsel for not-for-profit organizations and in 2020, she and long-time colleague Lynn Schwartz, combined forces to create H3 Philanthropy Partners, providing a cost-effective way to work on an “as needed” or “variable” basis. Serving as an extension of the client’s team, H3 Philanthropy Partners builds capacity and long-term sustainability for the organization.
Elaine believes that we learn from each other and hold ourselves to a strong code of ethics while welcoming diverse opinions and beliefs. She considers it a privilege for her to be able to positively impact the larger community in which we work, live, and play.

Most recently, Elaine served as the Chief Development and Business Relations Officer at Miami Children’s Museum, where she led all fundraising activities including special events, membership, advancement services, annual fund, and major gift fundraising. Before that, she served as the Assistant Vice President– Development/Senior Director at Miami Dade College Foundation, where she provided direction for the fundraising efforts by leading a team that focused on major gift fundraising, corporate relations, and foundation gifts. As a Senior Director of Development at Nova Southeastern University, she led major gift fundraising, including planned giving for various Schools/Colleges, as well as the Sherman Library.
In her free time, Elaine serves on the Broward County Commission on the Status of Women; has been a Connect With U volunteer for the Area Agency on Aging of Broward; and, serves as a member of several committees for Funding Arts Broward, of which she is a Past President.
